Supply Chain Administrator, £18,000 - £19,000 p.a.
Location: St. Ives
Our client who supply the food service and manufacturing industries are looking for a supply chain administrator to join their busy team, as the present Administrator has progressed through the business.
Exciting role with a niche market where you will be dealing with Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas.
Role Responsibility
Responsible for the complete cycle of container / trailer shipment from loading to arrival.
Responsible for efficiently maintaining accurate system records of all containers / trailers.
Responsible for accurately costing all container movements according to agreed cost schedule.
Responsible for organising and filing of Shipping Documentation to auditable standards.
Responsible for ensuring all Shipping Documentation is sent to correct parties within the agreed timescales.
Responsible for identifying and escalating shipping abnormalities, short shipments etc.
Completion of daily and weekly reports including Weekly Vessel Report.
Daily liaison with international shipping agents and suppliers.
Daily liaison with Supply Chain Manager.
Daily liaison with internal and external warehousing parties.
Essential Skill Requirement
Excel Intermediate to Advanced Level
Previous experience in an administrative role
Previous liaison experience with international-based companies
Previous experience in shipping / logistics sector.
Experience with Satisfactory Academic Progress and Material Management.
What they can offer
Annual salary commencing from £18,000 - £19,000 p.a.
Working 37.5 hrs. / week - Core hours working between 08:00 18:00hours
28 days annual leave, which include bank holidays plus additional days for every year served, up to 33.
