You’ll demonstrate these essential accreditations, skills and attributes

Responsibilities:

You’ll deliver world class accelerated training courses for which you must be certified/qualified to the standards required.
You’ll continually develop a expertise across multiple fields through personal development and accreditation activities.

You’ll develop peer networks to keep abreast of current thinking and engage with the community relating to your area of expertise.

You’ll train to high quality and organisational standards in order for delegates to achieve outlined objectives and pass the examinations.



Liaise with Instructors, Subject Matter Experts (SME) and the Learning Resources Manager (LRM), you’ll identify curriculum updates and enhancements. Creating justification proposals for submission to the Training Product Team to support learner needs and outcomes.

Employ Technical Authoring capabilities to contribute to the development/revision of appropriate curriculum, where necessary liaising on such activities with the SME.



You’ll work with Product Managers to ensure that courseware and other supporting materials for courses delivered and Pre-Reading materials are appropriately maintained as current and version controlled.

Support fellow Instructors and the Quality Assurance Manager

in the adoption of new products.
Work with Vendor Partners and Customers where bespoke training requirements are identified to develop and deliver suitably appropriate training solutions to their specification needs.

You will support the business in conception, development and maintenance of internal systems to drive efficiency and create a Centre of Excellence in such systems.

Ensure all appropriate Education systems are updated with relevant learner information following course delivery.

Working Hours/Overtime:

For the purposes of your employment, you will be deemed to be engaged either in duties classified as "teaching days" or "Development/Preparation Days".
Development/Preparation days are typically 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday.
Teaching days run 9:00am to 9:00pm concurrently through weekends and Bank Holidays, typically starting on a Sunday evening.
In line with your employment contract and allowing for your holiday entitlement, you are expected to work for 232 (8 hour days) days in each year. A teaching day is defined as 1.5 working days and a Development/Preparation Day as 1 working day.
In the event that more than the minimum 232 days per annum are worked, overtime rates are agreed.

Certified to deliver: Microsoft courses 20532: Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions & 98361: Software Development Fundamentals
Previous experience developing the following Microsoft courses:
20480: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3
20483: Programming in C#
20486: Developing ASP.NET MVC 4 Web Applications
20487: Developing Windows Azure™ and Web Services
20488: Developing Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 Core Solutions
20489: Developing Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 Advanced Solutions
Minimum 5 years working as a developer.
Availability to travel within Europe and MEA
Highly focused and self motivated highly motivated individual.
Flexibility towards working hours.
Willing to attend a ‘train the trainer’ day to exhibit competence.

Desirable skills and knowledge (not essential)



Languages (Dutch, German).
DBS checked
Drupal / PHP / Python / Power shell / JavaScript / SQL / VBScript / Microsoft.Net products
(Oracle and Access)
Proof of accreditation will be required
