Our client is looking for someone to assist in the finance department, carrying out Accounts Assistant duties. They have been trading for 40 years and are a well-established company based in Godmanchester, Cambridgeshire.
Your duties will compromise:
• Assistance to Group Assistant Management Accountant
• Bank reconciliations
• Assist in monitoring cash balances and keep schedule of cash flow
• Assist with the review and control of the sales ledger and purchase ledger
• Collation of information & posting journals in preparation for running the monthly Management Accounts
• Processing Barclay card & cash expenses
• Monitoring deferment duty declarations for payment
• Managing company vehicles
• Assisting the Head of Accounts with ad-hoc tasks
What our client is looking for:
• Qualified to AAT Level 3 or equivalent.
• Practical experience of working within a financial environment along with good administrative experience.
• Record keeping skills with a proven ability to work with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
• You will also have Good Excel (or similar spreadsheet application) and Word skills
What our client can offer:
• Salary of £25,000 p.a.
• 23 days’ holiday
• Hours of Work: 9am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday
• One hour for lunch.
