Accounts Admin Assistant – Peterborough – Temp – Perm - £9.00 ph
We are looking for an accounts admin assistant to join our expanding team. The position would suit a dynamic individual with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. The successful applicant will show good time management and have a self-motivated and can-do attitude alongside the ability to be professional and courteous at all times. The candidate will need to be team orientated with a good sense of humour to balance a strong work ethic.
Key Tasks
Using sage accounts software you will assist in day to day accounts processing Matching supplier invoicing with manual Purchase Order System Managing Supplier payment processing and reconciliations Managing Supplier payment dates Updating creditors lists Managing customer invoicing, receipts and debt collection Liaising with Suppliers on purchasing and purchase order creations Manage PDQ machine, processing payments, end of day banking etc. Ensure good communication with customers, managing customer’s expectations & perception at all times Manage escalated issues, provide reports to senior members of the Company Take ownership of assigned tasks through to completion & provide reports where required Ensure good working practise as a team member •Meet deadlines
Other duties will include: To undertake any such duties as required by the Company in relation to the business needs Be responsible & care for all Company property Be smart in appearance, maintaining the Company rules on appearance
Qualifications: Four GCSE’s A-C, including English & Maths Literate in Microsoft Office (2 years’ experience minimum) Sage Accounts Experience, minimum 2 years
