Our client is looking for a Payroll Supervisor to be responsible for overseeing the accurate processing of the various weekly and monthly payrolls for the client, third parties and other group companies.
Duties
• Overseeing the accurate and timely end to end processing of various payrolls and benefits in collaboration with various departments including other Group Companies and external advisors • Running payrolls, resolving run errors and produce Bacs files. • Produce RTI reports (including EYU) and reconciliations
Lead UK P11d administration. • Resolve technical payroll queries escalated by the Senior Payroll Administrator and Payroll Administrator. • Identify and escalate potential issues to the Payroll Manager. • Preparation of manual journals. • Overseeing the resolution of issues arising on the payroll GL reconciliations, Proactive confirmation of expected clearing of manual adjustments. • Update cash forecast for each payroll net pay, taxes, redundancies and recharges for the Treasury team. • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. • Identify opportunities and make recommendations in support of process improvements to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the team. • Support and mentor the team.
• Identify and make recommendations to the Payroll Specialist to ensure that SAP software is updated in line with company policy, controls, SOX, legislation and best practice. • Act as key contact for both internal and external audits. • Build simple ad hoc, SAP software. • Payroll reports and manipulate these in excel
Skills Required: • CIPP Diploma or equivalent (or working towards) • Excellent understanding of Payroll Accounting practises and procedures. • Sap experience preferred but not essential. • Ability to communicate at all levels across the business. • Excellent Excel skills.
