Our Client is a friendly construction company who operate from lovely offices with countryside views. This role will be responsible for various administrative and finance tasks within a small team. Duties will involve:
• Checking the Bank Account. • Cross referencing invoices and quotes to ensure that the invoices, daily bank reconciliations and issue these to Accountant. • Raising and issuing client monthly invoices. • Monthly BAC’s runs to subcontractors. • Monthly cross referencing of statements and invoices. • Organising deliveries, contractors and utilities and liaising with clients. • Sending out new tender site drawings to all contractors, requesting quotations etc. • General office administrative duties, answering the telephone, ordering stationary. • Completing CIS tax returns, quarterly VAT returns within the government set guidelines. • Verifying new subcontractors to ensure that they fit within the CIS guidelines. • Completing monthly staff wages and issuing pay statements to subcontractors. • Utilising excel - pivot tables, Vlookup’s, cross referencing multiple worksheet/workbooks, manipulating information • General administrative duties.
Candidates will have experience within a finance role and have good computer skills – Excel in particular. A personable, can-do approach is required. Driving licence is essential due to location.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am to 4.30pm with 30 minutes for lunch.
