Our Client is an established manufacturing company who work with many well known high street retailers . Working within a busy production environment:
MAIN DUTIES
1. Responsible for taking the lead role in carrying out Quality Inspections on behalf of the Supervisors and Setters. To include:
• Making sure that “first-off” inspection samples are available at the machines
• Regularly carrying out required checks of vac-formed products and other checks as required and instructed
• Correct collection and correct labelling of product samples for future reference
• Inspecting and sorting of quarantined or suspected non-conforming products, record information and inform the Quality Team Leader and supervisors
• Ensure Master Samples are completed for all new jobs.
2. Regularly liaise with Quality Team Leader, Production Supervisors, Setters and other relevant staff regarding any production quality issues.
3. Ensure that all relevant and required quality checks are correctly recorded and completed for each product.
4. To assist Supervisors and Setters with packing instructions for new jobs and correctly printing carton labels
5. Check and correctly input completed Production Spec Sheets onto system, report any anomalies to the Quality Team Leader and Production Supervisors.
6. Ensure that all relevant and required documentation, measurements and records are completed and correctly recorded where necessary for each product.
7. Ensure that production areas and machines are clean and tidy, to ensure safe working at all times.
