Duties will include:
Responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count products.
Accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift truck vehicle.
Responsible for performing ordering filling and order checking duties
Responsible for unloading inbound shipments correctly and safely, and to move product to storage locations correctly and safely.
Responsible for loading outbound shipments correctly and safely, and to move product from storage locations correctly and safely.
Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Reporting any quality variances.
Pull down and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and correct type of product is loaded and shipped. Perform picking duties in an efficient and accurate manner that meets customer service standards.
Responsible for loading, unloading, moving and stacking products using a forklift truck, power truck, or other power equipment.
Ensure that the companys equipment and materials are maintained and remain neat, clean and orderly.
Responsible for daily checks and inspections on performance and undertake minor maintenance on the forklift truck or other equipment.
Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
Responsible for keeping appropriate accurate records and reports.
Assist in physical stock checks and ensure proper stock rotation.
Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
Follow and adhere to all Health and Safety and Hygiene Procedures and policies within each department
