Branch Administrator, £8.00 per hour - Permanent

Our client need someone available immediately allowing you to take advantage of a good handover period. Our client are based in the Town Centre of St Ives, with all the amenities that offers such as doing your banking, shops, and supermarkets. They have been trading nearly 20 years and are well established.
It is working in a very customer focused environment where you will have your own responsibilities but primarily supporting fee earners.
Our client welcomes applications from recent graduates, those who have completed secretarial college, candidates who are looking for an interesting robust role without stress after perhaps a full taxing role.
All you need for this role is a quick bright mind where you can absorb the on the job training with respect to excel and administrative processes. You will receive all the training necessary.
What our client is looking for in the right candidate.
Possesses good G.C.S.E. grades.
Office qualifications would be an advantage.
Live local to St Ives.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel is essential.
As this is a front of house role you will need to be smartly dressed in business attire.
A good level of numeracy.
A willingness to work 8.30 - 5.30 with one hour lunch break and free refreshments.
Your duties will comprise:
Being the first point of contact, answering phones and meeting & greeting people in the office.
Generating application forms and giving them out.
There will be lots of copy typing so attention to detail is key.
You will also be carrying out some basic accounts one and half days a week so you will need to be numerate.
Updating the company website.
Dealing with starters and leavers.
Maintaining and updating other sites.
Maintain and update spreadsheets using Excel.
Updating the CRM database.
General administration duties such as scanning documents and filing.
Providing excellent customer service at all times.
Liaising with clients.
Assisting the directors as and when required.
Assisting with payroll on a Monday.
Placing adverts online.
Liaising with suppliers via telephone and email.
Other duties as required.
What we can offer:
A good starter salary.
Salary £17,000 p.a.
4 weeks holiday, plus all bank holiday, our client closes at Christmas and its likely that you would not have to work. However, they dont guarantee this.
