Our client is one of the UKs leaders within their industry. Position Purpose;
To support the operational administrative needs of the Company by undertaking a full range of administrative duties and ensuring efficient administrative processes are maintained in accordance with Company procedures and any relevant work instructions.
Accountabilities include;
Receive and log service calls from the customers Ensure the Service Engineers are kept up-to-date with booked appointments and completed installations. Complete installer/customer paperwork ready for issue. Assist in Co-ordinating service engineers and allied trades as required Ordering service call materials Check that sat notes are correct and processed in a timely manner Ensure all manual and electronic systems records are kept up to date. Administer fuel receipts and vehicle bonds Monitor and action the release of customer warranties. Deal with customer enquiries as required including customer courtesy calls, responding to customer queries & issues, Head Office issues ensuring management & the relevant system is updated where appropriate To qualify customer appointments for service calls, complete the relevant paperwork and
update the records/system as required. Process handover sheets, including forms relating to health and safety. Ensure debt jobs and any outstanding works are booked in a timely manner.
Performance measures; Service call targets Service call handling Customer Service This is an office based role. A degree of flexibility may be required with working hours during busy periods. To abide by all statutory requirements including those relating to Health and Safety. To adhere to and promote all company policies and procedures To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed
Desirable Qualifications
Educated to GCSE level C or above in Maths and English Good numerical aptitude Good written and verbal communication skills Specific Qualification in Administration such as NVQ
Technical Competencies IT literate Inc. Word, Excel, email.
Experience Previous general administration experience. Previous experience in a customer service environment. Background in a related industry. Previous logistics/planning experience.
