Advertising Sales Developer - Peterborough - Permanent - £18,000 pa
The Advertising Sales Developer should have a sales history, from an advertising background would be preferred. Knowledge and experience of the road transport and logistics industry is helpful.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
To meet or exceed agreed sales targets through:
Selling advertising space within publications Selling associate membership Identifying cross selling opportunities for our product/service portfolio Processing deals and accurately completing paperwork within agreed deadlines Ensuring all leads are followed up Informing and/or consulting other departments when appropriate Keeping all records up-to-date and accurate Any other duty as reasonably required Key Skills: Ethical telephone sales techniques Good written and oral communication skills IT literate: Familiar with used word processing, databases, spreadsheets and web applications including email, e-marketing, e-discussion groups etc The ability to work within a productivity range (minimum call numbers will be set). Other Duties: There will be occasions when it is necessary for duties to be undertaken away from the office and there maybe occasions when overnight stays are required away from home (such as attendance at trade shows). Any other tasks which can reasonably be performed as requested by your line manager.
