Customer Service Representative - Peterborough - CMIJP00035468 - 6 months - £8.50 ph
Our client is a designer and manufacturer of power generation equipment, power systems, gasoline engines, custom power supplies. They are looking for someone who can interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints.
The day to day duties are centered around quoting Customers from the system, so Oracle experience would be an advantage but full training will be offered where required.
You will be directing the customer to the right person, department, producing order boards, dealing with complaints/queries over orders.
All Microsoft packages will be utilized however Excel is only required to a basic/intermediate level.
Responsibilities include determining the clients issue, offer possible solutions or providing follow-up as needed.
Education/Experience - Previous customer service related experience required
Skills and Competencies Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service skills and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage ones time. Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information. Previous experience with computer applications, such as MS Outlook or data entry software - would be asset. Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Resolve customers service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, and adjusting bills. Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments. Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation. Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken
