Debit Note Analyst Permanent Peterborough - £21,000 - £25,000 pa
Responsible for the reduction of Debit Notes and Rebate issues on both National and Key Accounts. Review and implement process changes to improve efficiencies whilst understanding the complexity of each account. Liaise directly with customer accounts team to resolve debit issues and investigate debit balances and Customer contra remittances Liaise directly with internal account managers to resolve account issues Investigate all debit notes to allocate and resolve within KPIs Preparation of reporting submitted to Supervisor, Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer in line with internal reporting timelines Review current processes and offer efficiency solutions along with supporting the implementation process. Minimum of 3 years working in a busy finance environment. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels Understanding of commercial implications of decision making Strong team player as the role with require extensive cross company liaison Demonstrated ability to develop strong and lasting business relationships Experience dealing with B&Q, Homebase or Amazon or FMGC arena an advantage Excellent IT competencies (Predominantly Excel, along with complete Microsoft office suite) Strong analytical/Data analysis skills Ability to multi-task & prioritise workload AS400 experience Highly committed Self-motivated, determined Team player Methodical in approach Flexible / Can-do attitude Confident but open-minded Strong team player as the role requires extensive cross company liaison Demonstrated ability to develop strong and lasting business relationships
