Our client is looking for an experienced PR professional to join the company as an integral part of the team. You will be responsible for the PR of global brands, the right candidate must be able to get stuck into the business and be confident as you will be dealing with customers on a daily basis. Experience with online PR including Social Media is essential. A strong writer, possibly with journalistic experience and/or NCTJ
Responsibilities are likely to include the following:
• Daily client liaison and consultancy
• Attendance at client meetings
• Crisis support
• Providing briefing material for clients
• Mentoring and managing more junior members of staff
• Report writing
• Inputting into client media training
• Inputting into new business pitches
• Building relationships with key media
• Press release and article writing
• Preparing copy for newsletters and on-line news services
• Inputting into proposals and presentations
• Event organisation and attendance
Holidays: 23 days increasing to 25 days with service
Hours of work: 9 - 5.30pm
