Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) are responsible for identifying, contacting and qualifying potential customers. Working with Account Executives and Enterprise Sales Executives, the SDRs are responsible for building a pipeline of qualified sales opportunities which the team will develop into billing customers. Opportunities and customers identified by the Sales Development Representatives are instrumental in maintaining company growth.
Responsibilities: • Identify Ideal Customer from allocated prospects and other sources. • Utilise research skills to connect with these prospects/ customers within a defined territory. • Engage targeted prospects via email, phone and social media. • Gain understanding of potential customers processes/needs & clearly articulate the companys value proposition. • Qualify this match between the customers need and available services offered. • Track and route identified opportunities to appropriate members of the sales organisation. • Identify influencers and key decision makers at strategically identified accounts. • Liaise with colleagues to arrange Demonstrations of Mimeo solutions to potential customers. • Develop the ability to quantify the value of an opportunity. • Prioritise tasks around the most appropriate prospects in terms of value and customer need. • Maintain detailed and up to date records within the CRM.
Requirement: • Bachelors Degree or equivalent preferred. • 2 + years previous experience in a sales environment. • Demonstrates excellent communication skills - both written and oral. • Confident and ability to influence at all levels. • Enthusiastic and self -motivated. • Pays strong attention to detail and possess excellent organization skills. • Demonstrate strong time management skills and the ability to multi - task. • Able to collaborate with colleagues and identify potential improvements to processes. • Demonstrate the desire and aptitude to understand company solutions and processes. • Proficient in the use of Gmail, Google Drive or Microsoft Office, LinkedIn and Google Searching. • Experience with Salesforce.com desirable.
