Our Client supply specialist agricultural product to their Clients. Initially this is a 6 month fixed term contract to start 13th February working 08.00 – 17.00 Monday to Friday. However during the busy period between March and end of June you will be required to work a weekly shift rota: 07.00 – 15.00 08:00 - 17:00 11:00 - 20:00
There will be an opportunity for a permanent role for successful candidates.
Main Purpose of the Job: To provide a high quality order taking and customer general enquiry telephone service, for sales ledger queries and progression of orders. To act as a first point of contact for internal and external customers.
Duties: • To ensure that telephone calls are dealt withpromptly and to an agreed standard. • To meet and approve where possible the service level agreement. • To take and process customer orders in the agreed way. • To deal with customer returns. • To deal with general account queries. • To refer calls to specific areas of expertise as appropriate. • To keep relevent documentation up to date. • To liaise with logistics to find out delivery details or issues and communicate to the customer. • To always keep the customer updated and informed. • To liaise with sales support personnel for information. • To deal in the agreed way with customer complaints and ensure that the customer receives satisfactory response. • To process soil analysis invoices. • Any other duties as defined by the Customer Services Manager
Mandatory Skills: Literate. Numerate. IT Literate. Professional and personable telephone manner. Flexibility - Seasonal peaks Spring/Autumn.
Preferred Skills: Customer Service background. Sales Ledger experience a distinct advantage
Candidates will require their own transport due to the location.
