Our client is a dynamic, design focused furniture supply company with customers including Department stores as well as many leading internationally renowned retail clients. They are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their global team to manage and grow their key client portfolio developing business with current and new clients through deep understanding of their buying behaviors, needs and business structures to maximise sales.
o Responsible for a small team of account managers in China.
o Responsible for client related goals.
o Using relevant computer systems to monitor and analyse targets.
o Pro-actively seek new business with current clients.
o Assist directors in the strategic planning for client management.
o Critical path management for project development from inception to launch.
o Monthly offers to customers through promotional email campaigns.
o Key support of trade show from planning through to leading on stand sales tasks.
o Closing business through driving new orders into the business.
o Monitoring client business requirements and delivering a superb customer experience.
o Communication with the development team and sales team in china to ensure that all new business is executed seamlessly.

The successful candidate will have been working in client management related fields for several years and have great drive and enthusiasm to see business developed, deals closed and growth and profit achieved.
You should be open to European and some South-East-Asia travel. (Estimate Asia 1 to 2 times per year plus Europe 4 - 6 times per year though this may vary)
The ideal candidate will have some understanding of furniture or a closely related product sector but this is not essential and can be learnt on the job.
Hours: Full time - 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
