Our client is looking for a trainee MAC operator at their Reprographics Studio in Peterborough.
You will need to be a team player, with a flexible attitude towards working hours, use a Mac Operating System and fully conversant using Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
Duties:
• Working with a wide range of media on layouts, ensuring artwork received is on correct cutters, making any required changes, and sending to customers for approval. • Ensuring procedures are followed and relevant documentation is filed securely. • Processing a high volume of orders and liaising with relevant people/departments to ensure production has information required. • Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work. • Once approved, ensuring artwork is ready for print. • Occasionally meeting with customers or sales execs to discuss requirements for a job. • Making reprographic printing plates in advance of when production requires them. • Able to grasp technical information and concepts well. • Other support as required.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday8.30am to 5.00pm, Friday 8.30am -3.00pm
