Our Client is a property management company who operate from small offices in St Ives. This will be a stand alone role responsible for all aspects of accounts along with other general administrative duties:
• Updating and maintaining cash flow records. • Check bank receipts. • Collect, verify and collate sales information into management system. • Prepare and circulate weekly league table. • Collect and collate weekly power and utility usage information. • Update Sales and Purchase Ledgers. • Supplier Payments - includes/ negotiating agreeing with Suppliers. • Pay German equipment suppliers in Euros. • Preparation of quarterly accounts. • Calculation/ book entry of accruals and prepayments. • Annual Accounts to P&L and Balance Sheet - Point of contact/ liaison with Auditors. • Dealing with HMRC - mainly PAYE, VAT and Corporation Tax. • Payroll for 4 monthly paid staff, including P11d's. • Petty Cash. • Deal with Local Authority Rates. • Assisting the MD in preparation of financial information for Board Meetings. • General administrative duties - dealing with the Post, handling calls, annual insurance renewals etc.
The successful candidate will be Qualified or Qualified by experience and be conversant in the preparation of all areas of accounts. Much of the time this will involve working alone. You will have a working knowledge of Sage 50, Sage Payroll and Excel. You will also have good communication skills as this role will involve you liaising with a wide range of people.
Exact working hours will be agreed at point of offer as our Client can be flexible.
