Our client is an award winning clean technology company. This all around accounting role will involve:

The Role
• As the Finance Administrator you will work closely with the Management Accountant, and other members of the Finance, Administration, Legal and Procurement team with your focus on purchase ledger, sales ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, month end journals and treasury duties including bank payments.
• Help deliver accuracy within the company’s financial systems, processes and financial reports, undertaking daily routine ledger and banking activities.
• To be involved with some administration duties sharing with other team members; most importantly reception, telephone and office management duties.
• Point of contact for auditors, HMRC and other financial stakeholders including the Bank
• Reporting to the Management Accountant, the position is an important intermediary in delivering control and compliance in the financial systems/records and requires you to be self - supervised and detail conscious.
Duties
• Responsible for purchase orders ensuring that all purchases from the whole company come through the purchase order process
• Matching delivery notes to purchase orders
• Investigating differences from purchase orders to purchase invoices
• Sending purchase orders to all suppliers
• Credit control chasing our customers who haven’t paid
• Share duties for reception and incoming telephone calls
• Provide support in adhoc financial analysis and reporting work
• Provide support in ad hoc administrative and procurement tasks as required in any small
• business where cover is required
Skills and Experience

• Part qualified AAT as a minimum or some accounting experience.
• Ability to work under own supervision, quickly and accurately.
• The candidate should be flexible, supportive with a desire to help make change happen and
• make new process and systems implementations a success
• Positive, “cando” attitude.
• Welcoming personality and clear telephone manner.
• Preferably an interest in working for a recycling/clean technology company, with an affinity to sustainability and environmental issues.
• Demonstrable IT skills including computerised accounts, excel, word and google.
• Absolute focus and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Team player.
• Commitment to the mission and goals of the company
