Customer Service Agent

This role involves working within a busy contact centre environment handling incoming calls from customers relating to household electrical appliances.

Duties will include;

• React swiftly to all incoming calls/post/e-mail and other communication medium.
• Develop rapport with customers.
• OWN the customer. Always be polite, professional and empathise with the customer. Resolve their issues.
• To ensure all queries are answered within the agreed SLA (Service Level Agreement)
• Resolve the customers’ issues and ensure complaints are dealt with in a timely fashion.
• Log data accurately adhering to regulations, onto the relevant in-house systems. Ensuring the information recorded is complete and accurate at all times.
• Deal with technical and non-technical enquiries from clients. Answering within the company guidelines and procedures which are laid down.
• Ensure full knowledge of any information systems or procedures used to assist customers is up to date at all times. Up to date Quality Management system and documentation
• Escalate any issue with which you are unable to deal with to technical support or supervisors. Ensure to follow any departmental guidelines regarding the escalation process.
• Ensure customer satisfaction at all times.
• Assist with administration tasks as required.
• Work towards Individual/Team KPIs


Candidates will demonstrate excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus. Previous experience within a busy contact centre is preferred - ideally with other customer service exp.

Hours: 37.5 per week on a shift rota basis. Also required to work approx 1 in 3 Saturdays (day off in the week when working on a Saturday)

9am - 6pm - Monday

Either:

09.00 - 17.00 OR 10.00 - 18.00 Tues to Fri

Role goes up to £8.00 per hour once permanent
