Marketing Strategist – Peterborough – Permanent - £40,000 - £43,000 pa

The Global Marketing Strategist will take full ownership and responsibility for planning and delivering marketing activity in new global locations as well as expanding the success in existing markets The Role: • Developing and implement the EMEA marketing communications strategy for brand and product related activity to include advertising, PR, digital and exhibitions • Work with the Managing Director to launch products / events eventually into EMEA territory • Prepare product marketing materials according to local market knowledge • Lead , direct and manage a multi disciplined marketing team • Deliver marketing collateral including brochures; flyers; website and video/animation • Manage EMEA advertising/media partners • Manage internal communications • Support the key accounts programme with relevant literature, events, and planning • Build a network of marketing personnel within EMEA customers to maximise case study and photography opportunities • Monitor all aspects of campaigns for effectiveness and KPIs • Drive EMEA website traffic through traditional and digital communications • Manage joint marketing ventures with stakeholder • Gathers requirements for campaigns and manages day to day relationships with stakeholders • Leads the development and management of media plans. • Reviews and edits marketing materials and coordinates editing process with internal and external partners. • Leads the day-to-day stakeholder management • Overall responsibility for the development/writing of campaign brief and working to develop tactical executions. • Leads project management of Direct Marketing campaigns and contributes to improvements in project management methodologies and processes. • Provides recommendations to management on important issues of assigned projects. • Works in collaboration with key team members in order to analyse results and develop test and learn strategies for future use Experience Preferred: • Proven ability to develop and implement multi-faceted direct response marketing campaigns from focused strategies. • Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative and qualitative analyses. • Experienced in direct response campaign planning and in writing marketing briefs. • Knowledge of test and learn methods for optimizing direct response marketing efforts. • Demonstrable success at leading and managing a team • Experienced in developing and managing media plans Proven success in strategic planning and execution of marketing initiatives • Ability to complete due diligence and market preparation for new to market activity Skills/Abilities: • Proven success in strategic planning and execution of marketing initiatives • Exceptional and inspirational management skills • Ability to complete due diligence and market preparation for new to market activity Excellent written and verbal skills. • Proven self-starter with strong ability to meet deadlines. • Knowledge of Direct Response Marketing principles, Consumer behaviour. • Ability to manage projects and implement multi-faceted direct response marketing campaigns. • Problem solving skills. • Proficient in the use of the entire MS Office Suite. • Ability to produce PowerPoint presentations. • Must be able to successfully manage multiple priorities, develop project timelines, and attention to detail. • Ability to learn new material quickly and excellent business organization skills.
