This role is tasked with providing administrative support to the Planning Team which consists of 6 people. This role will be responsible for receiving and processing planning applications and pre-applications and liaising with Clients and 3rd parties in relation to these applications.
• Providing support to the Team to ensure efficient service is received by internal, external and 3rd party customers. • Providing a point of contact with regards to queries and technical issues relating to regulations, applications etc. • Maintaining and updating accurate records ensuring all relevant required documents and information is held. • Handling all incoming calls to the department, assisting with queries and taking messages as appropriate. • Responding to correspondence, emails and face to face communications from customers.
Candidates will have the ability to multi task and manage multiple requirements all at differing stages of the process. The role also requires a high degree of Customer liaison so strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport is also key to the success of this role. Strong PC skills and accurate administrative skills are essential.
