Job Purpose:
To provide a professional and comprehensive reception service to external and internal customers, maintaining a high standard of appearance, a courteous efficient manner and positive image at all times.
• To operate the company switchboard offering assistance to customers and ensuring that calls are directed to the appropriate destination. • To receive and sign in visitors in a friendly helpful manner, informing them of the Health & Safety procedures. Notifying the relevant person of their arrival. • Monitor building access and issue security passes in compliance with air freight cargo regulations. • Maintain Visitor and contractor records via Excel spreadsheet. • Offer a complete postal service for both incoming and outgoing mail and courier services. Restocking the franking machine. • Work with HR to update and maintain accurate up to date company telephone listing, distributing to all personnel on a monthly basis. • Order, receive and maintain office supplies. • Manage housekeeping of the reception area and post room. • Assist with management of booking system of the conference facilities.
Candidate will have previous experience of reception, customer service or office administration, be well presented and communicate in a friendly, professional manner.
Full training of the switchboard will be provided. Hours:
08.30 - 17.30 Mon - Thur 08.30 - 16.30 Fri
Candidates will need to be flexible as will need to work outside these hours on occasion.
