Our client, a leader supplier to the construction industry are looking for an experienced Sales and Marketing analyst to join them in their offices in St.Ives. Reporting directly to Database Manager and working within a team, the candidate will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of customer data
The role requires good organisational and inter-personal skills as well as being capable of working on multiple projects at once. The ability to prioritise their own workload and work under pressure whilst keeping to previously agreed deadlines is required.
Having knowledge and first-hand experience of using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio within a work environment as a reporting tool is advantageous, the candidate also needs knowledge of MS Excel and Access, knowledge of VBA would also be beneficial.
Duties of the role will consist of the below:
• Maintain the customer databases ensuring all data is correct and tidy including adding new customers to the database along with grouping customers for rebate etc.
• Develop, produce and circulate various daily, weekly, monthly reports as required to all levels of the business.
• Respond to non-standard requests for information.
• Ensuring that all data is accurate and delivered within a set time scale.
• Communication with fellow team members and end users on project progress and/or difficulties.
• Other duties as required.
• Experience in writing and publishing reports to end users in a prior job role would be advantageous.
• Demonstrate knowledge in SQL programming through SQL Management Studio, knowledge of Visual Studio would also be beneficial.
• Well-developed communication and analytical skills.
• Good Microsoft Access knowledge.
• Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, obtaining external data and formulae such as vlookup and Sumif.
• Knowledge of VBA would also be beneficial.
