| Description: | Our client based in Huntingdon are a market-leading supplier of educational resources are looking for an experienced and dynamic digital marketing assistant to join its growing online marketing team.
Duties of the role will consist of the below:
• Marketing of the company’s main product lines via website, email marketing, video, social media and online advertising.
• The creation of marketing collateral, white papers and case studies may also be required.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
• Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other channels as required.
• Explore new ways to engage and identify new (social) networks to reach our target audience.
• Track, measure and analyse all campaigns.
• Acquire and grow knowledge of marketing automation platforms.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of marketing techniques.
• Assist with event planning, including working with suppliers and design teams.
• Liaise with external agencies as required.
• Travel for trade shows (including potential overnight and weekend work).
• Other duties as required.
Experience and Qualifications:
• Honors degree, preferably in marketing or a closely related field.
• Two years of direct marketing experience, preferably in education or B2B, or a background working in the education system.
• Knowledge of search engine marketing, including PPC.
• Digital marketing accreditations and qualifications an advantage.
• Must be highly organised.
• Impeccable attention to detail.
The position is ideal for a marketing graduate, ideally with at least two years’ experience. The successful candidate will have good knowledge of marketing techniques and the desire to write great copy.
Knowledge of marketing automation platforms is an advantage (e.g. Pardot or Hubspot).
