An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Administrator, reporting to the Procurement Manager, the successful candidate will be required to provide an effective and comprehensive administration service to the Procurement Department based in Cambridge.
Responsibilities
• Place orders and process material and plant requisitions • Co-ordinate the supply of materials and plant to the site teams • Answering telephone and dealing with any queries / enquiries relating to the purchase of materials and plant • Prepare, issue and evaluate tender enquiries / proposals • Undertake performance reviews on supply chain • Managing and developing relationships with key supply chain and operational teams • Co-ordinate and administrate the monthly reports, ensuring the timely and professional submission • Production and distribution of meeting minutes and/or notes from any procurement related meetings/activities • Adhere to the Skanska Operational Procurement policy and procedures.
Skills / Knowledge / Experience & Qualifications
• Basic level secondary education including English and Maths • Able to use Outlook (email), Word, Excel and PowerPoint to an intermediate level • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Strong administration skills • Professional telephone manner • High attention to detail
