Logistics Planner – Peterborough - £15,000 - £16,000 pa
Our client is a leading manufacturing company in Peterborough and they are looking for someone to join their team. Duties will include but not limited to.
Working in the Logistics team as a Customer Service
Calling Hauliers to make sure the progress of the trucks are on schedule.
Dealing with bookings from customers.
Management of customer orders.
Liaising with customers both on the phone and email.
Making sure the shipments are on time
Planning paper work
Liaising with forecasting for availability / back order management.
Liaising with departments on deliveries.
Someone with good PC skills
Good eye for details
Someone who is good at Planning
SAP would be good, but not essential
Someone from a Distribution or Manufacturing background would be good, but not essential
