Description: | Our Client is a well respected, smart organisation within the Telecoms industry. Working within a busy office of our Clients warehouse this role is tasked to provide support to the core business functions in all aspects of logistics/ procurement.
To provide support to the core business functions in all aspects of logistics/ procurement.
• To liaise with suppliers and customers, to act as customer key interface providing day to day support, to UK office. • Coordinating and controlling the order cycle (order through to invoice) and associated information systems, in accordance with contracts. Managing order backlogs and confirmations dates. • Follow up on all shipments and couriers to ensure timely delivery and compliance with client requirements and regulations. • Liaise with internal and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery as per the operational needs. • Maintain a record of Local and Global Purchase Prices, Vendor Lead Times. • Maintain an efficient system for the control of Inventory Stocks, Receipt of Items Purchased, Outgoing and Incoming Shipments and be responsible for the administration of all related paper work and filing system. • Issue a serial number to all assets and inventory items where required and keep a resister. • Maintaining equipment/stock inventory. • Liaise with warehousing for incoming deliveries. • Supply, in accordance with company reporting systems, monthly reports allowing efficient communication and accurate information pertaining to Inventory, purchases and logistics • Approval of supplier invoices. • Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development. • Managing Customer Warehouse. • Provide data, reports and other documentation as requested. • Ensure all company ISO procedures are adhered to. • Interact with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid the business. • To provide cover and support for other members of the Logistics team.
