Our client are a Premium food distribution company who have been trading for over 70 years globally. They are seeking a Project Co-ordinator who can really add value by pitching in with launch administration, offering administration support to the team, manage spreadsheets and have a understanding of supply chain activity.
• Provide general administration support to the Sales Director. • Monitor competitors marketing activities for both chilled and ambient markets through monitoring new coverage, advertising, on-pack promotional activities, store audits, etc. • Understand assigned factory portfolio and feasibilities. • Account specific project management - i.e. re-launch, pack change, Christmas. • Collaboration to client presentation. • Sample coordination plus courier cost database/sample database. • Contact with client developers for project management, i.e. agencies. • Takes over from development and innovation at the time of the launch in account. • Management of the customer ambient library. • R&D briefing for existing products. • Develop relationships with divisions for project implementation. • Meeting with customers for project management, i.e. benchmarking. • Product assessment and benchmarking internal. • Manage cost calculation/database. • Any other ad hoc duties as required by your line manager.
• Industry, trade and customer practices - UK multiples. • Trade planning process. • Category management process. • Marketing research data. • Effective presentation techniques.
Competencies: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Analytically minded and passionate about using data to drive decision making. Ability to multi-task and prioritize work-load, to deliver activities on time and within budget Flexible approach to people, projects and assignments Excellent project management skills, ability to manage projects with several stakeholders.
Experience/Education: Completed first FMCG marketing experience, with good understanding of UK market and trade.
