Following a period of growth our client is expanding its sales team, and are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Sales Executive to join the team. This role is a demanding one and the successful candidate needs to be a self-starter and sales/target driven.
The primary role will be to source new business and maintain current relationships to maximize sales and services.
Responsibilities:
· Direct field sales, cold calling (business to business) · Maintain accurate notes and records on the company database · To develop and maintain a good working relationship with other relevant departments · Generate new business, working to targets · Grow existing customer’s accounts · Visiting customers, existing and new.
The Ideal Candidate:
· Will be able to communicate effectively at all levels · Will have experience in field sales, calling and lead generation and development · Will have experience in MS Word and MS excel, with MS Access an advantage · Will be able to work to monthly individual and team targets · Will be a self-starter, able to work effectively and on occasion unsupervised · Will have a Can-do attitude to problem solving · Will have good organisation and time keeping skills · Will have a full, clean, driving license · Access to a vehicle an advantage but not essential
Hours of Work:
Office hours, with some travel. 37.5 hours per week
