Hours of Work 8am to 5pm (40 hours per week)
Assist the Operations Manager with the daily warehouse operations.
Assist the Operations Manager with the following daily activities as required:
Pick management – work flow and pick allocation
Generate shipping labels
Manifest all 3rd party shipments
Organise and oversee loading of all vehicles
Manage the goods in process, including posting inbound deliveries and liaise with purchasing regarding shortages and damages
Oversee the returns process
Site inspections, as per internal procedures
Manage and safeguard all warehouse paperwork
Agency staff booking and time sheet management (container unloaders)
Order Consumables
Print and review monthly volume and picker reports
Telephone Queries
Assist with appropriate Health and Safety and Environmental objectives
Deputise for the Operations Manager in his absence
Required:
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Good time management, ability to work to strict deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, and Excel
• Previous experience of logistics and/or administration support
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills
• Own transport
Desirable:
• Supervisory / Team Leader experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Ax or similar operational computer software
• Knowledge / experience of health, safety and environmental good working practices
