The Product & Market

The main product is an electronic triplog, which is used by companies to keep an automatic driving log of trips made by their vehicle fleet (primarily smaller fleets, i.e. 5 to 15 vehicles).

The Role

The sales process starts with a phone call. Within the company, telesales staff are called 'Meeting Bookers'. The job of a Meeting Booker is to help find leads, cold call into companies, and qualify requirements to ensure a good fit. Meetings are booked for the Field Sales team, and there is a good deal of synergy between Meeting Bookers and Field Sales - it's very much a team effort.



Without Meeting Bookers, our client does not have a business. The position is very highly regarded within the company, and consequently well paid. Due to the higher volume of sales activity possible on the phone compared to face-to-face sales, Meeting Bookers are often amongst the highest paid sales staff in any given month.

Opportunities also exist for Field Sales, and there is plenty of scope for career development - for instance into more specific sales roles such as Key Accounts for particular verticals, or Sales Management, as the company is growing so fast.
This company make everything simple, they don’t introduce any unnecessary barriers and use as little administration as possible so it’s a linear approach. How refreshing!

Hours: Office opens from 8am to 6pm.

Hours available are 8am – 4pm or 9am – 5pm with some flexibility.

No part time available. Lunch 30mins to 1 hour.

What we are looking for:

· Attitude is key! We'll teach you how to do the job, most important is that you have the right mind-set. You don’t even need sales experience but an appetite to give it a go!
· Firstly, you're not afraid to pick up the phone - your job is about cold calling. As a character, you should be bursting full of energy! You're a smart, resourceful, and very positive person, who tends to look on the bright side.
· You're a confident and natural communicator, and very social.
· A competitive nature is very much encouraged, and performance is key, but this is a team sport - so you need to be there for your colleagues, to help them to perform as well as they can too.
· Working with this successful business you'll develop an appreciation for the mechanics of sales and sales processes, therefore it's important that you can follow a plan, and carry out what we teach in our training. If you have dedicated sales experience - great, but it's not a deal-breaker if you don't. Also graduates are welcomed, but there are no hard and fast stipulations regarding education level.
· The office is in central Peterborough, so a reasonable commuting distance is an obvious pre-requisite.

Training

On starting you will enjoy a 2 week training course (this could be from the get go or scheduled within the first month or so) which will give you a good understanding of the business and its products.

During this period you will also learn how best to get those valuable leads.

Bonuses

• You will earn double your basic.

They will make that very achievable for you! Your relationship with the Field sales is key because as a team you will succeed. When you book quality appointments that CONVERT to revenue after the Field Sales has attended an appointment you will receive bonus.

Bonuses are paid monthly.
