Description: | Our client is looking for secretarial and administrative support to the Rural Department in Peterborough and any other team members as required.
Duties to include:
Audio and copy typing of various documents understanding the need for confidentiality at all time. Proof reading documents. Arranging meetings and updating Fee-Earners whereabouts in their Outlook calendars. Liaising with clients, tenants and contractors. Booking travel and accommodation when required. Setting up and closing/archiving of files both paper and electronic. Filing (electronic and paper based). Attending team meetings and taking and producing minutes. Co-ordinating and organising Business Development Activities including maintaining the spreadsheet. Ad hoc projects. Photocopying, scanning, binding. Be aware of H&S responsibilities and report any potential hazards to the Office Manager. Receive calls for any other members of the office and direct them as appropriate. Undertake any other duties that may be required and accept that may be on an ad-hoc or permanent basis. Any other duties commensurate with the skills and experience of the post holder.
Person Specification:
Essential Criteria/Competence. Desirable Criteria. A proven track record in providing secretarial and administrative support. IT literate and highly competent in MS Office. Audio typing. Strong communication skills both verbally and written. Excellent attention to detail. Pro-active. Be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team. Flexible approach to work. Committed to continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Technical Abilities:
To cover all qualifications (A levels, Bachelors degree, MRICS etc). To cover all technical requirements (Microsoft Office, audio typing, typing speed etc).
