To facilitate the smooth running of the office by ensuring the telephone is answered in a pleasant and efficient manner and that clients and visitors are greeted in the same way.
The main duties involve:
Answering the telephone and greeting clients and visitors.
Taking and relaying messages.
Keeping records of all telephone calls and visitors to the office.
Sending and receiving fax messages
The secondary duties include:
Liaising with other members of staff within the team.
Making sure timesheets are kept up to date from the members of the team (5 in total).
Keeping the Reception area need and tidy.
Candidates must be capable of working on their own initiative.
Telephone communication and switchboard operation skills are essential.
Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
