This role is a stand-alone position covering the Current Finance Officer who is on planned sick leave (Has an Op)
Full handover will be provided:
Duties will include:
• Calculation of monthly paid staff, maintenance of wages records. Calculation of monthly returns to the Inland Revenue and all related administration including P60's and DSS documentation. • Purchase Ledger - check and input invoices, raising payments etc. • Bank reconciliations. • Maintenance of Petty Cash. • Inputting of sales invoices and receipts. • Completion of VAT returns, submitting quarterly to Customs and Excise. • Carry out any banking of monies received. • Preparation of nominal ledgers. • Assist Colleagues with preparation of annual budgets, monitor expenditure and prepare Statements of Budgetary Control. • Analysis and allocation of timesheets and administrative staff time to various budget headings. • Collate and prepare information necessary for the Auditors - ensuring audit trail and final balances sufficient to meet requirements of regulations. • Act as Treasurer for associated parts of the business. • Issue invoices and collect rents from Tenants.
Candidates will be Part AAT qualified and be adept in working in a stand alone role.
