As New Business Consultant you will be responsible for successfully sourcing and managing key advertising business. Your duties will include:
• You will ensure that all areas of the digital business are optimised and that every possible revenue opportunity is achieved. • The primary purpose is to win key digital business, specifically targeting new business clients directly and offering predominately content-led and lead generation solutions. • Your role is to ensure that the Entertainment Digital arena gains maximum revenue, profit and market share, to manage your sales at the most senior strategic level whilst planning efficiently, selling effectively and having excellent administration skills.
Key skills: • Solid grasp of digital platforms, with experience of integrated multi-channel campaigns and content marketing strategies
• A working knowledge of what engages and inspires an audience
• The ability to get to grips with a variety of subjects
• Create genuinely unique marketing solutions for each client and deliver them in a relevant way to our audiences
• The ability to get under the skin of a client's brand strategy
Duties and responsibilities:
• Work autonomously
• Build strong relationships with clients who do not currently advertise in the Entertainment's brands
• Be entirely proactive in terms of lead sourcing, client management, meetings and communication of progress
• Be a sales leader
• Have the ability to create a compelling sales story to demonstrate the benefits of using Entertainment's solutions to win business from top potential clients
• Monitor competitor sites and ensure that the market share is maintained or exceeded
• Have a clear digital strategy for your clients
• Ensures that any deal won is then successfully delivered by communicating with all relevant
colleagues, be they in editorial, advertising, content hub or production • Set realistic budgets and forecasts and then smash them
• Attend brand meetings when required, providing feedback on clients and offering ideas for content initiatives
