Summary: Responsible for assisting in the administration of various human resource services and functions within a facility, division or Shared Services. Exercises independent judgment with direction from supervisor.
Job Responsibilities: • Absence management. • Supporting leaders in absence review hearings. • Liaising with Occupational Health, employees and leaders regarding individual absence cases. • Absence administration. • Support the HR Business Partners in carrying out disciplinary and grievance investigations and hearings and the administration to support this. • HR letters, including reference requests and job change letters. • Filing. • Working closely with line managers and individual employees to respond to a wide range of queries.
Required Qualifications: • Requires a college or university degree or equivalent experience. In addition, some human resources job-related experience is typically required. • Relevant HR generalist experience. • Good communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills. • The ability to maintain confidentiality. • Planning, prioritising and coordination skills. • Attention to detail and initiating action.
