Our client based in Stamford are looking for an experienced Design Drafter. This is to work within a fast growing department who specialise in Designing and Manufacturing of large equipment.
Skills and Competencies:
• Demonstrable skills in the creation of 3D models and engineering drawings using Creo 2.0 CAD package.
• Understanding basic principles of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Understands the underlying principles, techniques and procedures of design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA) appropriately as part of work.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Creation of detailed models and engineering drawings of assemblies and components including castings, mouldings, fabrications and machined parts and modify existing parts and drawings to meet project deliverables on time and to specification.
• Strong team member able to coordinate with the design team, suppliers and manufacturing.
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor of Science, or equivalent degree in engineering. HND/HNC with a minimum 5yrs experience.
