Project Management Analyst (Warranty Analyst) – Peterborough - £13.00ph (4834115) – 12 months As a Warranty Claims Support Analyst, you will deliver monthly quality and warranty reports for IPSD Senior Warranty Analyst and management. Typical internal customers include various portion of the company’s worldwide operations. External contacts include various companies who purchase services offered by the client. The position is challenged to carefully evaluate warranty claims and review a large number of possible solutions before selecting one option. Claims may be complex and can require the incumbent to develop solutions. The role impacts key quality goals including Customer Satisfaction, Continuous Improvement, Timeliness, Accuracy, Efficiency, Cost Savings, Process Quality, Part Quality, Internal Quality Certification, Vendor Certification, Sarbanes Oxley etc.
The role will also include communication with customers/distributors/dealers at various business levels • Warranty review on all the company’s claims making recommendations on referral to the Senior Warranty Analyst for review and action • A comprehensive understanding of all warranty rules, a technical knowledge of the product including the subsequent reasons for failures • Deliver monthly quality reports for the Global Product Groups and other specific quality reports • Perform data mining; identify contributors and emerging problems, identify any lack of coverage and work with CPI community to get them fixed • Support Product Support and CPI personnel with product problem management; provide input on product quality extracted from corporate systems. • Automate reporting; use software tools to reduce time needed for producing the reports. Key Competencies: • Engine system diagnosis experience • Good analysis skills, well organized, good communication skills. • Very good knowledge of Windows applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Access). • An ability to use web based tools. • Working knowledge of systems (RWA, SIMi, CPI, SIS etc) would be beneficial. • An understanding of the company’s manufacturing process. • Ability to work across the IPSD business and enterprise partners.
Qualifications: The position typically requires a college or university degree or equivalent experience.
In addition five years of job-related experience are typically required – minimum two.
