Business Analyst (Senior Warranty Analyst) Peterborough -(4835736) 12 months This role is to identify the key company warranty claim issues that can be worked to drive circa $-2.000,000 USD benefit. The role is accountable for the analysis using multiple data sources to identify common warranty problems leading to the development of business case to adjust, reject or reallocate incorrect warranty assigned to IPSD. The person in this role must be of significant technical calibre and be able to draw link between claim details and data sets that may not be obvious. It is critical that the field investigation element is robust enabling the reallocation or rejection quickly to progress to resolution. The role will also include communication with customers/distributors/dealers at various business levels Review all company claims referred by Warranty Analyst or business partners and action accordingly A complete understanding of all warranty rules, a strong technical knowledge of the product including the subsequent reasons for failures Perform data interrogation; identify contributors steps to recover or reallocate incorrect warranty applied to IPSD budgets Regularly report warranty expenses (Service Letter expense tracking vs. budgeted and warranty recovery from suppliers) to track the budget used for warranty costs and make it possible to recover charge backs from suppliers Drive Product Support groups to educate dealers on warranty policy allowances and policy breaches Debit dealers based on sound technical and policy decision within the corporate timelines and process which demonstrate incorrect diagnosis or warranty allowances Engine system diagnosis experience Good analysis skills, well organized, good communication skills. Very good knowledge of Windows applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Access). An ability to use web based tools. Working knowledge of systems (RWA, SIMi, CPI, SIS etc) would be beneficial. An understanding of the companys manufacturing process. Ability to work across the IPSD business and enterprise partners.
Qualifications: The position typically requires a college or university degree or equivalent experience. In addition ten years of job-related experience are typically required minimum six.
