| Description: | This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward thinking company who offers career and skills development. You will be part of a small Buying team, liaising closely with Suppliers to Reporting to the senior Buyer, duties will include the following:
• Raising and sending purchase orders.
• Entering order ackno7wledgements onto the system.
• Maintaining the system in terms of information pertaining to suppliers and items.
• Working with sales and operations to progress items as required.
• Office filing.
• As well as any other reasonable duties that may be asked of you from time to time.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisation and communication skills with the ability to develop good working relationships with suppliers. Candidates will have accurate PC skills and be comfortable in making outbound calls to Suppliers to discuss a range of issues and develop good working relationships.
Initially this is a temporary role that will go permanent after a period of 6 months.At which time the company also offers 25 days holiday, life insurance, a sick pay scheme, and a contributory pension scheme.
