Telesales Team Leader – Peterborough - £22,000 - £23,000 pa
To take responsibility and ownership of managing the Telesales Team working closely in conjunction/together with the Strategic Projects Manager To take responsibility and ownership for ensuring the delivery of KPIs for all Telesales team members To take responsibility and ownership of delivering the Telesales targets To communicate, support and coach (where appropriate) to facilitate the development of the Direct Sales Team and to sustain good working relationships To take responsibility and ownership for weekly one to ones each Monday working closely in conjunction/together with Strategic Projects Manager
To monitor the sales group mailbox and all incoming sourced leads to the Company and ensure they are followed up by the correct members of the team To take responsibility for the sales holiday sign off and manage holiday leads (Strategic Projects Manager to deputise in TTL’s absence)
To take responsibility of monitoring absence/sick leave/lateness on a shared responsibility basis/working closely together with Strategic Projects Manager
To be responsible for increasing the turnover and profit of the company by growing the customer average order value, total value and order frequency. To be responsible for managing allocated territories to ensure they meet the agreed targets, KPIs and objectives whilst adhering to the sales process. To be responsible for ensuring that the companies customer service is second to none by being pro-active in resolving issues and delivering outstanding customer service. To deliver a sales target provided on a yearly basis for your designated accounts through telesales and achieving 100% of provided CSE’s KPI’s .
To be responsible for supervising the sales personnel to ensure they meet their agreed targets, KPIs and objectives whilst adhering to the sales process, in conjunction/together with the International Sales Supervisor To coach and mentor the team to introduce new business leads to help increase overall sales working alongside ISS
Building, finding and retaining new business for team members – working closely with Marketing to fulfil this To consistently introduce new business leads to the team; increase overall sales To take a lead role in the Team development - fostering and promoting team harmony. Motivating the team and leading by example As part of the weekly 1:1s cultivate a system whereby KPIs are reviewed consistently during this time in a controlled manner To take a lead role in the development of the continuously improving sales and sale administration, customer sales support services that meet the needs of the company. To discuss issues, review/evaluate lost sales and look to how improvements can be made To provide on hand support and guidance on ‘how to sell’, techniques, support.
To be responsible for weekly Monday one to ones in conjunction with ISS To motivate the Sales Team and incentivise to achieve their KPIs and targets Monitor and review on a weekly basis all ongoing deals and take responsibility for order sign off including matting orders and direct orders To consistently review, monitor and seek ways to improve the sales processes across the group To develop and progress the Telesales staff in their career at the company- ensuring the relevant skills/training is provided to achieve their KPIs Monitor Sales Group Mailbox (all incoming leads), Website leads to monitor/ track all leads and maintain/review lead history To take responsibility for the overall team’s margins
Process hard sales data relayed from the ISS to determine where there are training issues/needs and address these Develop and maintain relevant contacts in designated accounts, to establish and develop long-term relationships and increase sales opportunities.
Identify potential new accounts and liaise with all interested parties to acquire these.
Ensure that the database of customers and their contact details are maintained and updated on a timely basis
To grow the database of clients through use of all media, identifying new opportunities and obtaining all relevant contact information
Working with externally based account managers, ensure that sales/orders are processed and prioritized in a timely manner to ensure that deliveries are planned to meet the required delivery date. To be responsibility for ensuring KPIs are met by all the Telesales Team staff and weekly recommendations are made and implemented To be responsible for ensuring that all customer service is second to none by being pro-active in resolving issues To take responsibility for one’s own continuing professional development To promote wherever possible the company in a good light, seeking to retain business integrity and creditability through professional sales management Educated to O – Level/GCSE level or equivalent in English and Mathematics Strong proven sales track record of achieving sales targets Excellent telesales skills Excellent English – both spoken and written Proven track record of high closing ratios Strong interpersonal skills Previous experience of training/coaching sales teams Motivated and driven -determination to succeed Patient with the ability to work as a team at all levels Ability to work in tandem with a senior colleague to the overall benefit of the team and ultimately the Company and its goals Strong coaching and mentoring skills Ability to read and interpret hard analytical data Methodical and structured approach to work
