Description:Our client is looking for experience Sales Executives to join their team.

As Sales Executive, you will be sitting in with the Quick Response Team.

It is your responsibility to achieve an annual gross profit target from the customer base, negotiating and agreeing terms which maximise the return on the resources employed.

Main duties include;
• Obtaining enquiries from existing and potential customers.
• Regularly reviewing allocated accounts with External Account Manager or Sales Manager identifying the future tactics to secure or develop the business.
• Negotiating payment terms with existing and potential customers to try to improve the return on investment.
• Using the pool of non-allocated customers to win and develop business and eventually turn them into regular allocated customers.
• Identifying available split by product for each allocated account.
• Reviewing results monthly, identifying tactics to develop the full potential.
• Agreeing call off orders in writing with an end date for final delivery.
• Regularly discussing and reviewing with customers any contract call off orders rescheduling with suppliers where necessary.
• Regularly reviewing the customer credit limit to ensure that the stock level and incoming stock are taken into account.
• Quoting customers for their requirements promptly and within the timescales agreed either converting immediately into an order or recording clearly future reference.
• Sourcing material to satisfy orders or enquiries within the timescales agreed.
• Following up previous quotations in an organised manner converting into order or establishing and recording the reasons why lost.
• Ensuring purchase orders are progressed with suppliers to ensure customers are delivered on time.
• Entering customer’s orders into the computer system promptly and accurately.
• Placing purchase orders, negotiating professionally.
• Entering purchase order details promptly and accurately into the computer system to ensure the customer’s requirements and delivery schedules are met.
• Resolving all customer complaints promptly (or refer immediately to line management) raising necessary paperwork without delay.
• Updating and maintaining customer records for all potential and existing customers.
• Obtaining and retaining in an organised manner relevant up to date market information (e.g. price movements, competitor information, etc) in a way that enables structured feedback to be given to the Sales Manager, STL, SCM, Regional Directors and Central Purchasing Team.
