Paraplanner – Peterborough - £25,000 - £30,000 pa
We are currently working with a leading financial services provider offering service to both private clients and businesses on a national basis. Based in the centre of Peterborough, our client has an exciting new opportunity for an experience Paraplanner/Technical Administrator.
The purpose of the role is to offer excellent administration whilst working very closely with the advisors. Your responsibilities will include:
• Preparing Suitability Reports/Letters for investment, pension and protection business.
• Producing compliant and accurate investment and pension reports using Financial Express/Analytics and other websites.
• Maintenance of general investment documents and updating of client database for use by whole company.
• Research and report writing
• General administrative duties including liaison with clients and product providers to obtain information to prepare reports.
• Prioritising and managing workload working in a small team of 5 Administrators and 5 Advisers plus 2 Directors.
• Flexible, positive attitude
• Methodical and analytic work ethic
• Previous experience working within an IFA practice is essential.
• Excellent level of product knowledge, preferably full CII Diploma or above and willingness to further develop knowledge and qualifications.
• Excellent IT and communication skills.
• Experience of using Iress Adviser Office would be advantage.
Office hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm with one hour lunch
20 days holiday to start, rising by 1 day each year to maximum of 25 days
