Our Huntingdon based clients are Market-leaders in educational print and publishing. They are currently seeking a dynamic business development executive to expand its primary school customer base.
The successful candidate will have an excellent telephone manner, drive, determination and the ability to work independently, and as part of a successful team.
The ability to communicate effectively and in an eloquent manner in face-to-face meetings, on the phone and in writing is essential.
Having an enquiring mind, the candidate will also seek out new opportunities for products and services within the primary education sector.
Business development activities will include generating appointments by calling both existing and new customers to explore new routes to market, possible advocate schemes and possible new products and services, whilst maintaining excellent customer relations. Ideas for new products will be fed back to the company for development.
Duties will also include researching, booking and attending exhibitions across the UK, whilst being self-motivated and wanting the sale. The desired candidate must be able to provide concise quotes for various products and to maintain complete and accurate records in a database, ensuring all information is kept up to date. Must be able to work out of Huntingdon and to provide own transport to UK meetings. Full product training will be provided. Excellent career opportunities.
