| Description: | This position is primarily to cover the weighbridge, but will also encompass administrative support for other departments and may also include some yard duties. This will effectively be a job share based on 2 shifts, Monday to Friday; 6am-12 noon and 12 noon - 6pm. Covering the 12 noon - 6pm shift, your duties will include;
• To produce an accurate weighbridge ticket for all loads entering and leaving the site.
• To identify and record the correct customer/supplier account, product, haulier and registration details.
• Quality control of raw materials.
• To ensure all drivers and visitors are wearing appropriate PPE and aware of site rules.
• Answering the telephone in a professional manner.
• Raise daily Despatch Notes for our drivers using Sage Line 50.
• Pallet control.
• Logging of fuel tickets.
• PO matching.
• Monthly dispatch of samples to external labs for analysis.
• Record lab results in data and graph form.
• Administrative support for internal departments as required.
Candidates will have:
• P.C. literate, in particular competent use of Excel and Word.
• Good communication skills.
• Confident and pleasant telephone manner.
• Physically fit.
• Warehouse / production experience - not essential, but could be useful especially if has fork truck/ JCB experience.
• Good attention to detail.
• Team player.
• Flexible attitude.
