Our client is a leading UK and international manufacturing company based in Peterborough, and are seeking an experienced International Sales Manager to join its dynamic team.
As a dedicated and determined individual, you will be required to engage in direct sales with clients and potential customers whilst maintaining excellent relationships. You are to have excellent organisational and communication skills, with an assertive, outgoing and positive nature. A successful candidate should be efficient, adaptable, work well under pressure and be able to cope with the demands of potentially rigorous international travel schedule. You will be required to organise and attend a number of annual overseas exhibitions hosted in the USA, Germany, Russia, China, Brazil, Thailand, India, Ukraine, Poland, Turkey and on site in the UK. You are to acquire leads and then ensure these are followed through.
In addition to your sales duties, you will be responsible for the management of a number of overseas agents working on our behalf. You are to ensure that they are sufficiently motivated and that KPI’s are regularly set and achieved.
Duties:
• Manage / motivate overseas Sales Agents. • Organise / attend overseas exhibitions. • Engage in direct sales and cold calling. • Visit clients / potential customers. • Manage and maintain excellent client relationships. • Develop and promote the brand in International manufacturing/engineering market place.

• Innovative approach to problem solving. • Self-motivated and enthusiastic. • Efficient and organised. • Excellent time keeping, attendance and punctuality. • Engineering / technical background preferable.
