Our Stamford based client is seeking a Sales Executive. The key purpose of the role is implementation of the overall Ad strategy for your part of the magazine through development and delivery of tactical plans. Duties will include:
• To actively sell advertising • Delivering the contract, achieving revenues and yields • Ensuring compliance with Customer service initiatives • Maintain market awareness • Maintain a close working relationship with editorial, marketing, production and accounts • Accurate budgeting and forecasting • To have market knowledge and monitor competitor magazines
Other responsibilities will include:
• Meeting and exceeding budgeted revenues and yields • Growing sustainable relationships with customers to achieve greater loyalty • 15 effective calls per day(this means speaking to the customer about price & size), • check the flat plan every day, one hour per week using/updating ad tracker, one hour a month with editorial, ad reports completed one week prior to meeting, one hour per week spent planning the next issue.
