This is a varied role and it is envisaged that it will cover the following areas:
Stock • Raise new part numbers on MRP system and any associated Bills of Materials required. • Enter works order tickets from production • Book goods in delivered by suppliers. • General maintenance of stock databases as and when required. • To provide cover for Warehouseman & Financial Controller when necessary - receipting and issuing stock on MRP system for the Warehousing business. • Provide cover for Financial Controller to perform month end procedures when necessary
Sales • To enter new sales orders on to MRP system for company and raise associated documentation where necessary • To provide cover to Logistics Manager for raising delivery notes when necessary and booking of transport / courier. • To assist the Senior Buyer with customer queries regarding spare parts. • To provide support where needed to the Production Scheduler
Purchasing • To provide support to the Senior Buyer as required
Accounts • To match delivery notes to invoices for both Sales and Purchases. • To enter Purchase invoices on to MRP system ensuring correct coding is entered • To match remittance advices from customers to their invoices • Maintain filing systems • Be a point of contact for both customer and supplier queries. • To provide cover to the Financial Controller as required.
HR Systems • To assist the Financial Controller in the maintenance of all HR systems and accurately record all absences, holiday requests etc and provide reports accordingly. • To be a point of contact for queries regarding clocking errors, holiday requests and payroll queries.
Office Administration • To deal with incoming and outgoing post and distribute accordingly. • To forward answerphone messages as required.
Any other duties as required by the Financial Controller to aid in the smooth operation of the departments.
